Manage and coordinate all internal and external communications, branding, and marketing efforts for St. Mary's School, including social media, website, and media relations. | Bachelor's degree with proven experience in strategic communications, branding, and digital media management, preferably in an educational or institutional setting. | Reporting to the School President, the Communications and Marketing Director are responsible for the internal and external communications of St. Mary's School. Responsibilities include planning, initiating and managing communications including designing and editing message content design for all print, digital and social media; acting as the official media spokesperson and ensuring a cohesive brand for a "one school" branding. In partnership with the School President, Executive Director of Advancement and School Principals, the Director also leads the implementation of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategic plan for St. Mary's School Essential Functions: • Works with the School President, Director of Advancement and Parish Communications Director to ensure a cohesive ONE School and Parish policy/brand/identity is represented and to facilitate a coordinated approach for all communications and marketing. • Assists with creating and promulgating the School and Parish style guide. • Assist with the creation and execution of a comprehensive Strategic Communications and Marketing Plan. • Maintains official St. Mary's presence on all social media outlets and manages the Social Media Committee. • Supervises content for the website. Serves as a point person along with the IT Department regarding design, branding and content. • Works with the Directors of Admissions on admissions collateral. • Work with the Advancement Office on solicitation materials for the annual appeals, alumni events and constituents and campaign materials. • Works with the Athletic Office and Director on athletic collateral, print materials and media guides. • Coordinates and manages photography, videography and graphic design vendors (contracts and schedule) for all school events to be used for marketing, print publications and social media. • Works with external media sources to strategically promote St. Mary's School. • Serves at the primary media contact for St. Mary's School except for routine sports stories • Assists Pastor, School President and School Principals with crisis messaging to parent constituencies with consultation as needed from the Parish Communications Director • Contributes school information to Parish communications such as Flocknote and bulletin. Position Qualifications: • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred. • Mission-driven communicator who authentically advances the Catholic identity and values of St. Mary's Schools across a PK-12 system • Strategic marketing and communications leader aligning efforts with system-wide enrollment, retention, and advancement priorities • Steward of the St. Mary's Schools brand, ensuring consistency and excellence across all PK-12 divisions and platforms • Proven ability to support admissions and advancement through targeted, data-informed campaigns across multiple entry points • Exceptional writing and editing skills for executive-level, family, alumni, and community communications • Oversight of PK-12 digital strategy, including websites, social media, and email communications • Sound judgment and discretion in crisis, sensitive, or high-stakes communications impacting the broader school community • Collaborative leader who works effectively with divisional principals, admissions, advancement, and parish leadership • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and stakeholders across the PK-12 system Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000, Annualized Benefits: We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package with this position, including health, dental, and vision coverage; employer-paid life and disability insurance; automatic enrollment in the 403(b) plan and employer contribution (whether or not the employee contributes); and generous paid holiday, sick and vacation leave.
