Architect, design, develop, and lead SharePoint solutions including migrations, governance, integrations, and technical leadership. | 8+ years IT experience with 5+ years SharePoint architecture/development, proficiency in SharePoint platforms, Power Platform, Azure, SPFx, and programming languages, plus leadership skills. | Sharepoint Architect Key Responsibilities • Architect and design enterprise SharePoint solutions for collaboration, content management, and business process automation. • Lead migration projects from legacy platforms or SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365. • Define governance, taxonomy, security, and compliance policies for SharePoint environments. • Develop and configure SharePoint sites, workflows, web parts, and integrations with other systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Teams). • Implement Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI solutions integrated with SharePoint. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. • Provide technical leadership, best practices, and mentorship to SharePoint development teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance. • Stay updated with Microsoft s roadmap for SharePoint, Teams, and M365 to recommend adoption strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications • 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in SharePoint architecture and development. • Strong expertise in SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2013/2016/2019, and Office 365. • Experience in SharePoint migrations (e.g., using ShareGate, Metalogix, Quest tools). • Proficiency with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI). • Knowledge of Azure services (Azure AD, Functions, Logic Apps, DevOps) for integration with SharePoint. • Solid understanding of information architecture, content management, and security best practices. • Hands-on with SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, .NET, REST APIs, Graph API. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams & SharePoint Administrator Associate, MCSE, etc.) are a plus. Sharepoint Developer Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint solutions, including SPFx web parts, workflows, forms, and apps. • Customize and configure SharePoint Online / SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 to meet business needs. • Develop integrations with other systems using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and web services. • Build and customize Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and Power BI dashboards integrated with SharePoint. • Maintain and enhance existing SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists. • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, create technical designs, and deliver high-quality solutions. • Ensure best practices in SharePoint security, performance, and governance. • Provide support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes for SharePoint applications. • Collaborate with architects, admins, and business analysts in an Agile development environment. Required Skills & Qualifications • 4+ years of experience as a SharePoint Developer. • Strong expertise in SharePoint Online and/or On-Premises (2013/2016/2019). • Proficiency in SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, C#, .NET. • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI). • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, and third-party integrations. • Knowledge of SharePoint workflows (Nintex, Power Automate). • Solid understanding of SharePoint permissions, site collections, lists, and libraries. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Evaluate and migrate the US State Client intranet from Liferay CMS to SharePoint, including design, template creation, permission setup, and content population. | Experience with SharePoint Communication sites, CMS migration, information architecture evaluation, template and permission scheme creation, and intranet site design. | SharePoint Architect - Remote Key Responsibilities • The US State Client intranet website is instrumental in helping staff do their work. It contains operational information in such areas as human resources, finance, facilities, technology, and communications. It is also a portal to many business applications used daily. The work under this engagement consists of moving the US State Client intranet site from the current CMS (Liferay) to SharePoint. The vendor’s resource(s) will evaluate the current information architecture to determine how it could be built as a SharePoint Communication site; suggest changes in content organization, structure, and navigation as needed; create a graphic design that combines the needs and desires of US State Client intranet owners as well as the capabilities of SharePoint templates; create SharePoint templates as well as a permission scheme; build the SharePoint site using the new templates and design; and populate the site with existing content as applicable
