Lead security and life-safety systems projects from planning through closeout, coordinating schedules, materials, teams, risks, documentation, and customer communications. | Requires five years of project or program management in security, fire alarm, or construction, knowledge of Division 28 systems, and experience coordinating concurrent projects, procurement, and cross-functional teams. | Position Summary Responsible for leading mission-critical projects and programs from initiation through closeout, ensuring successful delivery of life safety and security systems (Division 28) across high-priority deployments. This role combines program-level strategy with hands-on project execution, focused on schedule certainty, material readiness, quality assurance, and customer alignment. Education/Certification: • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED • Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by National, State or Local codes Requirements • 5 years of experience in project/program management within security, fire alarm, or construction environments. • Strong understanding of Division 28 systems including CCTV, access control, and life safety systems. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams. • Experience with material management, procurement workflows, and inventory tracking. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. • Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-visibility, mission-critical environments. • Proficiency in project management tools (Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms). • Execution & Delivery Focus • Cross-Functional Leadership • Risk & Constraint Management • Customer Focus • Strategic Thinking with Tactical Execution Key Responsibilities Project & Program Delivery • Lead end-to-end delivery of MCT projects including design coordination, material procurement, provisioning, installation, and closeout. • Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or programs with a focus on schedule adherence, cost control, and quality execution. • Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and proactively mitigate risks and constraints. Materials & Operational Readiness • Ensure full visibility and control of material flow, inventory tracking, and provisioning readiness. • Drive cross-functional alignment between PMO, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Field Teams. Documentation, Risk & Change Management • Oversee documentation including RFIs, change orders, permits, and closeout packages. • Identify, track, and manage project constraints and risks, including schedule and contractual impacts. • Support change order development, scope management, and customer communication. • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements. Stakeholder & Customer Management • Provide clear and consistent communication to internal stakeholders and customers on project status, risks, and financials. Leadership & Program Strategy • Act as a leader and mentor within the MCT, driving accountability and continuous improvement. • Support program-level strategy including scalability, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
