About the Role: The Ameriprise Advisor Group (AAG) includes approximately 2,000 financial advisors and more than 800 operations partners across 170 branch offices in the U.S. AAG supports the practice of financial advisors who help clients plan to achieve their dreams and financial goals. We have dedicated leaders and operations partners focused on driving profitable growth in financial advisor practices. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities vary depending on current rotation and assigned projects(s) and may include: • Coordinate with leaders to create and manage project plans and deliverables for advisors and internal stakeholders • Gather data to track progress versus goal on key projects and send follow up communications • Partner with leaders to execute the branch marketing programs • Client relationship management by establishing new clients with Ameriprise, including introduction to the digital experience, addressing client service requests, and assisting in preparation or follow-up to meetings Examples of past intern projects include: • Evaluate social media engagement results for the branch to create a proposal for improvement • Assess new client onboarding approach across the branch to create a proposal for increased consistency • Review client acquisition, marketing and event strategy and execution across the branch and collaborate with branch leaders to improve results • Analyzing the advisor insights across their client base to identify opportunities within the book of business Required Qualifications: • Be a current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree. • Graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027. • Available to join June 2026 for the full 10-week internship. Preferred Qualifications: • High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics. • Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. This Role will support the Pacific Northwest Territory of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Key Responsibilities • Drive Strategic Growth Collaborate with the Franchise Field Vice President (FFVP), Franchise Consultants, and Advisors to boost engagement and accelerate practice growth. Lead the annual business planning process, ensuring high participation and meaningful goal-setting across the territory. • Recruit & Develop Talent Lead high impact recruiting efforts for Novice and Experienced Advisors, franchise staff, and external practice acquisitions. You’ll build and manage a diverse sourcing strategy, screen and interview candidates, and guide them through every step—from initial contact to onboarding and career development. • Own the Onboarding Experience Design and execute customized onboarding plans for new advisors and acquired practices.
