The Managed Networks team manages key venue customer relationships, develops the overall account and commercial strategy, and drives related sales. Day to day you will drive growth and expand business opportunities through customer engagement, relationship management and expansion, opportunity identification, market analyses, and proposal development. You will position American Tower’s (“ATC”) entire portfolio of venue products and services, using knowledge of customers’ business and operational needs. As a Director you will lead across key ATC organizations to develop appropriate customer solutions that achieve targeted financial performances. Responsibilities What You Can Offer Us • Uncover profitable new business opportunities using: • Consultative dialogue with senior leaders within venues on their current technology and future aspirations; • Thorough understanding of ATC’s offerings and value propositions; and • Overall understanding of venue market drivers, future technology roadmaps, and provides guidance for ATC portfolio considerations. • Meet or exceed key financial goals for assigned for managed networks (e.g., commenced new business, invested capital, total revenue). • Maintain alignment with Product and Strategy teams to share customer feedback and ensure alignment on account/product strategy execution. • Build new and maintain existing relationships within assigned account to uncover new opportunities. • Develop and maintain internal relationships with key internal functional areas; utilize internal relationships to gather input and knowledge to develop creative solutions that drive results. • Carry out the internal sales process to obtain approvals, reviews, and support for your deals. • Develop partnerships with other companies to further success with assigned accounts. • Develop strategic large deal opportunities through an understanding of customer needs/requirements in the field and driving deal concept through headquarters. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications What You Need to Succeed • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. • Minimum 12 years of wireless industry, DAS deployment, private networks, Wi-Fi, and new business development experience required. • Business development, negotiation, and commercial sales experience. • Ability to identify highly nuanced development opportunities based on comprehensive knowledge of both internal and external positions. • Thorough knowledge of the customer’s technological needs and requirements. • Experience influencing internal and external key stakeholders/executives. • Ability to lead cross-functional teams with a unified vision to achieve yearly and multi-year objectives. • Between 25 - 50% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities. • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively. • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment. The Financial Analyst Intern will be responsible for a variety of functions including but not limited to financial modeling, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis and Merger and Acquisition ("M&A") due diligence for the U.S. Tower Division. The Financial Analyst Intern will be responsible for obtaining and communicating information that is accounting, financial and operational in nature, analyzing the information, and preparing various reporting packages and summaries of results to be used at various levels within the U.S. Tower organization. The Financial Analyst Intern will assist Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Manager, and FP&A Senior Manager in preparing financial reports through analysis of operating statistics and/or financial data. The incumbent must be flexible as to hours during busy periods and to ensure project deadlines are met. Responsibilities What You Can Offer Us • Support Financial Planning and Analysis team with ad hoc analysis, data sourcing, research and financial modeling. • Prepare and coordinate monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports, some of which are custom in nature, for distribution to senior and operational management within the U.S. Tower division. • Assist Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Manager, and FP&A Senior Manager in preparing analysis, commentary and presentation material for the quarterly executive and operational review meetings. • Develop strong business partnerships throughout the U.S. Tower division. • Build and manage accurate financial models, executive level presentations and databases using MS Excel, PowerPoint, ERP Systems (specifically Oracle R11, R12, and TM1), and Access as appropriate. • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed. • Through analysis of financial and operational information, approve and reject business cases valued at up to $5 million while assessing profitability and financial benefit.
