This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities while strengthening existing accounts, with a focus on profitable growth, account penetration, and customer satisfaction. The Account Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative packaging solutions, lead customer trials, and execute strategic growth initiatives that expand Amcor’s presence and market share. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Geographic Scope: Ozark Territory Number of colleagues directly reporting to this job: 0 Annual sales*: $5-15 million Number of accounts*: 35-50 Drive for Results & Growth Deliver sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for assigned territory. Prospect, network, and leverage industry contacts to develop new accounts and expand share of wallet with existing customers. Execute territory plans that align with business and marketing strategies, ensuring Amcor is positioned as the supplier of choice. Lead and support key business negotiations, influencing customer decisions and driving long-term agreements. Learn about Amcor, our products, the industry and competitive market Customer & Relationship Management Build and maintain multi-level, cross-functional relationships with customer decision-makers and influencers. Partner with customer stakeholders in Purchasing, Product Development, Operations, and Marketing to identify opportunities and deliver tailored solutions. Network externally to strengthen Amcor’s presence with co-packers, machine suppliers, OEMs, and industry associations. Stakeholder & Internal Engagement Coordinate with Sales Management, R&D, Marketing, and Field Service to ensure successful validation and commercialization of new opportunities. Align with Strategic Marketing and Product Management to target unmet customer needs and deliver innovative solutions. Manage accounts receivable in collaboration with Credit, ensuring financial health of assigned territory. Work with leader on the implementation of defined strategy (technology, product management, commercial) for the market and targeted segments Commercial & Reporting Excellence Use CRM tools for pipeline management, account planning, profitability improvement, and churn reduction. Ensure forecast accuracy and provide timely updates on sales performance and market dynamics. Share insights from customer engagements to support strategic planning and product development. What We Want From You Bachelor’s Degree required. 2–4 years of progressive sales experience, ideally in flexible packaging, foodservice, or related manufacturing/distribution industries. Demonstrated success in developing new business and growing accounts. Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills. Proficiency with CRM and sales tools.
