Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. | Requires 5+ years executive administrative experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools. | Administrative Assistant – Zebulon, NC Pay: $30.00–$34.00/hour Schedule: First Shift Core Hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite with potential for limited work-from-home flexibility Employment: W2 Contract Alphanumeric is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support the Site Director and Site Leadership Team at our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Zebulon, NC. We've partnered with this client for more than 20 years, supporting their mission to improve lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements. This is not a traditional entry-level administrative position. We're looking for an experienced administrative professional who is comfortable supporting senior leadership, managing complex schedules and priorities, coordinating high-level meetings and site activities, and serving as a trusted partner in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do - Manage complex calendars, travel and scheduling for the Site Director and Site Leadership Team, including cross-time-zone and shift-based meetings. - Coordinate travel and complete expense reporting through Concur. - Process non-GMP purchase orders using Ariba and SAP. - Coordinate Tier 4 and site governance meetings, including agendas, pre-reads, meeting minutes and action trackers. - Track leadership decisions, action items, milestones, risks and dependencies and proactively follow up on outstanding items. - Coordinate meeting rooms, visitors, catering, technology and other onsite logistics. - Maintain site and functional distribution lists for new hires, transfers and departing employees. - Serve as the site's master timekeeper, providing backup support for employee time records in Workday and helping ensure payroll deadlines are met. - Coordinate visits from global leaders, regulators, customers and business partners, including itineraries, transportation, lodging, meeting logistics and site tours. - Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, town halls and other site events in partnership with Communications and HR. - Handle sensitive leadership and business information with a high degree of professionalism, judgment and discretion. What We're Looking For - 5+ years of Executive Administrative or Executive Assistant experience. - Experience supporting senior leaders, executives or a leadership team in a complex organization. - Strong calendar management, meeting coordination and organizational skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including SharePoint. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities. - A proactive, anticipatory approach—you see what needs to happen next and follow through. - Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels, from senior leadership to site-based operational teams. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. Highly Preferred - Administrative experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, life sciences or another regulated environment. - Experience with SAP, Ariba, Concur and/or Workday. - Experience supporting site governance meetings, executive visits, town halls or large employee events. Important W2 Eligibility Information This position will be employed directly by Alphanumeric on a W2 basis. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong cloud engineering expertise to join a collaborative team responsible for building reliable, scalable, secure, and efficient applications. This is not a traditional cloud infrastructure or DevOps-only position. Software engineering experience is a core requirement. The ideal candidate combines hands-on application development with strong knowledge of modern cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code. As a senior technical contributor, you will take loosely defined business and technical requirements, translate them into well-defined technical solutions, and architect and build those solutions through implementation. You will work alongside talented engineers in a highly collaborative environment that values curiosity, innovation, pairing, continuous improvement, and pragmatic engineering practices, Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications. • Translate business and technical requirements into well-designed software solutions and technical specifications. • Develop and maintain production-quality software within modern cloud environments. • Design solutions across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS), with GCP strongly preferred. • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. • Partner with product teams, software engineers, cloud engineers, and internal and external stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. • Apply software engineering best practices to system design, implementation, testing, security, reliability, and scalability. • Support modern CI/CD and automated deployment practices. • Participate in Agile development activities, technical design discussions, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving. • Champion secure engineering practices and contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering organization. Required Qualifications. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; Master's or PhD welcome. • Approximately 8-10+ years of relevant software/cloud engineering experience or equivalent experience. • Strong hands-on software engineering experience is required. • Experience developing production applications, backend services, APIs, microservices, or other cloud-native software solutions • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - strongly preferred • Microsoft • Azure • Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code. • Experience working within an Agile software development environment. • Ability to independently architect and build solutions from loosely defined business or technical requirements. • Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on Rust programming experience • Experience with Python, Go, or other modern software development languages. • Kubernetes and containerization experience. • Cloud infrastructure engineering experience • Experience developing cloud-native applications and microservices • Pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated-industry experience.
