Drive direct sales and margin growth through customer engagement, prospecting, relationship building, and territory management including travel. | 3-5 years outside sales experience, strong interest in technical products, excellent communication, organizational skills, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. | Plan and execute direct sales activities within a territory to meet and exceed sales and margin goals by building and maintaining long-term relationships and creating loyalty with target accounts through telephone calls and direct sales. The position will require a solutions-oriented consultative selling approach, servicing existing customers and finding new customers, getting to know the customer’s industries and applications, and making value added recommendations that will help them meet their goals, such as increased productivity and reduced costs. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong sales background, a strong interest in technical and mechanical products and applications, and the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Success in this position will require solid knowledge of our products as well as our customer’s industries and applications for our products, exercise solid organizational, route planning, and time management skills, including the ability to manage their business while on the road. Responsibilities: • Drive Sales and Margin by engaging in extensive direct customer contact to conduct sales and service activities including developing strong customer relationships, introduce new products; identify product applications; and keep customers informed of product and service developments. • Finding new customers via referrals and prospecting. • Convert referrals and prospects into active accounts through direct and indirect sales contact. • Prepare quotations and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions. • Increase sales volume and gross margin by improving the quality of information provided to customers; up-selling when applicable; working to eliminate returns and complaints, and continuously improving sales techniques. • Prepare and present business plans that demonstrate strategy to meet and exceed budget expectations. • Demonstrate self-motivation, enthusiasm, and friendliness with internal and external customers to maintain and promote good relationships. • Organize and conduct training sessions for customers; survey the market and competitive conditions; and complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, and other information in a timely manner. • Use training programs to improve skill sets and product line knowledge to maintain productivity and enhance the selling process and increase territory sales volume. • Effectively manage controllable expenses within the sales territory such as; transportation, lodging, and meal expenses. • Complete development plan and participate in continuing education programs to improve competencies, skills and servicing techniques. • Contribute information and ideas to management and assists others in the company to enhance and improve sales results. • Invest the necessary time to accomplish the primary objectives and does not yield to time constraints. • Conduct specialty projects and perform other related duties as assigned by management. • Possess a valid driver’s license and meet company motor vehicle insurability. • Completion of college degree and/or equivalent sales experience. • Three to five years of outside sales experience. • A strong interest in technical and mechanical products and applications. • Knowledge of company products, the industry, competitors, basic business concepts, and an understanding of customer needs and expectations. • Solid organizational and time management skills. • Excellent communication and listening skills. • Practice integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the business. • Must work well in teams. • Computer literacy, with focus on Microsoft products. • Willingness to learn and participate in intense training. • Must possess an out-going and likable personality. • Must have a positive “can do” attitude. • Bilingual preferred.

Requested by our largest customers, this new role is a strategic investment to capitalize on our expanding market share in the blast, coatings, and safety markets in underserved markets. This role can be based in any large Midwest city including Chicago, Kansas City, St. Louis or Nashville. We’re looking for a competitive, tireless road warrior who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and driving exponential growth with our largest multi-state, industrial construction/turnaround/maintenance contractors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Aggressively pursue new business opportunities with established and new strategic accounts in the blast, coatings and safety product segments. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer job sites, regional purchasing, and national leadership and purchasing teams. Conduct targeted on-site visits, value proposition presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Collaborate with Allredi’s internal customer service, operations, logistics and supply chain teams to meet and exceed demanding customer expectations. Track and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics, utilizing market analysis to identify and quantify opportunities among new and existing strategic accounts. Leverage industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to present Allredi's value proposition and secure new business. QUALIFICATIONS Proven track record of prospecting, closing sales, and bringing on new long-term customers in the industrial or construction-related fields. Ability to outline and execute on a sales plan that meets or exceeds aggressive sales goals. Previous broad success calling on strategic accounts with multi-state footprints and both centralized and regionalized purchasing strongly preferred. Commitment to driving top line revenue while supporting efforts to effectively manage bottom line. Strong familiarity with safety products including technical knowledge of key lines; ability to cross-sell, upsell and displace incumbent suppliers. Strong understanding of the Midwest industrial contractor market and customer dynamics. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop strong relationships with decision makers at every level of the organization and negotiate win-win solutions with suppliers and customers. Willingness to travel extensively; must love being on-site in front of customers while prioritizing the biggest opportunities. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and relentless in pursuit of success. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
