What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas within a tech, media, or telecom environment. Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter potential unauthorized behavior through visible presence and engagement. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters. Assist with access control, visitor management, and verification of credentials as required by site-specific policies. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
