Plan and execute regional fundraising events, coordinate vendors and venues, manage event communications and day-of operations, and supervise interns and volunteers. | Experience in event coordination or political organizing, strong communication and organizational skills, familiarity with Google Workspace and social media, and local network knowledge. | Description: The Alliance 4 American Leadership (A4AL) is seeking Regional Events Directors to plan and execute events within their local area as part of our national organizing strategy. These directors will coordinate regional fundraising events, chapter launches, and in-district meetups. While this is a primarily remote role, it is ideal for someone who understands the local political and community landscape, has established contacts in their region, and can leverage those connections to build attendance and impact. Directors will collaborate with national and local team leads to bring events from concept to completion. Responsibilities: The Regional Events Director will oversee all aspects of event planning and execution within their assigned region. This includes identifying and securing venues, coordinating with vendors, planning materials, and managing setup and teardown. They will also lead day-of operations, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees, speakers, and volunteers. Additional duties include managing event-related communications (invitations, Save the Dates, follow-ups) and working with the Social Media team to promote events. Directors may also supervise regional interns and volunteers. Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have experience in event coordination, political organizing, or campaign work. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills are essential. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Canva, and major social media platforms is preferred. Candidates should be self-starters, capable of working independently while collaborating with remote and in-person teams. Preference will be given to candidates with strong local networks and knowledge of the Washington, DC or Baltimore region. About Us: The Alliance for American Leadership (A4AL) is a bipartisan political action committee advocating for strategic U.S. investments that save lives and strengthen global alliances. We believe that effective international assistance bolsters national security, counters adversaries including China, saves lives abroad, and boosts the U.S. economy. Time Commitment: Volunteer, primarily remote, with in-person requirements in your region. Approximately 10 hours per week.
