Follow us on Glassdoor and LinkedIn! MANTL is the digital account opening platform trusted by banks and credit unions across the country. As part of the Alkami Solutions Group, we are scaling fast — and our implementation organization is scaling with us. We are looking for a Senior Manager of Business & In-Branch Implementations to own the strategy, execution, and leadership of our most complex, relationship-defining implementation work: Business Omni, in-branch, and specialty account types. This is a senior leadership role for someone who has lived inside a bank or credit union, has already built and led implementation teams at scale, and knows what it takes to turn a complex, high-variance delivery motion into a repeatable, high-performing function. You will inherit a growing team, an active backlog with real revenue attached, and a mandate to build the operating model, senior bench, and process discipline required to deliver at Alkami-scale. You will report to the Director of Implementation and operate as a senior peer to other implementation leaders across the org. What You'll Do Own the vertical: Set the strategy, capacity plan, and operating model for Business Omni, in-branch, and specialty account type implementations across MANTL's customer base — from a lean starting team to a scaled, self-sufficient function. Build and lead a senior team: Hire, coach, and develop a team of senior Implementation Managers and specialists — raising the bar on delivery, ownership, and craft across every member of the team. Establish the playbook: Define, document, and enforce the standard implementation methodology across account types — milestones, handoffs, RACI, success criteria, and quality bar — so delivery is predictable across every customer and every IM. Own the backlog and forecast: Take end-to-end accountability for pipeline health, in-flight risk, and delivery pacing. Provide reliable, defensible forecasts to Finance, Product, and the executive team. Be the senior customer partner: Serve as the executive escalation point for complex, high-stakes customer implementations. Bring clarity, credibility, and calm to the moments that define renewal and reference outcomes. Drive cross-functional strategy: Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Support at the leadership level to unblock systemic issues, feed learnings back into the roadmap, and represent the reality of complex implementations inside strategic decisions. Operate on the leadership team: Report to the Director of Implementation and operate as a peer to Service Delivery leadership across Online/Consumer and Large Bank tracks — contributing to org-wide decisions on capacity, hiring, methodology, and customer commitments. What the First Year Looks Like Success in year one is defined by three things: stabilizing delivery, building the operating model, and raising the bar on the senior team you lead. Specifically, you will: Audit the current state — in-flight work, at-risk accounts, gaps in process, ownership, and coverage — and produce a clear plan of record for the vertical. Define and document a standard implementation methodology across Business Omni, in-branch, and specialty account types, with the milestones, handoffs, and quality criteria the team and customers depend on. Hire and ramp senior Implementation Managers and specialists, and establish the coaching, review, and career-path structure that lets each of them operate independently at a high standard. Deliver customer commitments without losing momentum while the new structure is being built — with measurable improvement in on-time go-lives, escalation volume, and customer satisfaction. Establish a durable reporting and forecasting cadence — capacity, pipeline, risk — that leadership can rely on to make hiring, roadmap, and commercial decisions. What You'll Need Required: 8–12 years of experience in software implementation, project management, or delivery — with a meaningful portion in SaaS or fintech. 4+ years of direct people management experience, ideally leading a team of senior ICs in a complex, customer-facing delivery environment. Direct experience working inside a bank or credit union, or leading implementations for financial institutions at a vendor — you understand the operational reality of FI workflows, not just from the outside. Hands-on experience with account opening software, whether as a bank employee, implementation consultant, or vendor — you know what "going live" actually means in this context. Demonstrated track record of building or rebuilding an implementation function — methodology, staffing model, and reporting — not just running the one you inherited. A structured, process-oriented mind — you are the person who defines the runbook, sets the quality bar, and enforces it across a team. Executive-grade written and verbal communication — comfortable setting expectations with C-suite customers, exec stakeholders, and cross-functional leadership. Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed. Strongly preferred: Familiarity with DNA, IBS, Symitar, or other major core banking systems. Experience owning a portfolio of concurrent implementations across diverse customer types and channels (direct, Fiserv, COCC, etc.). Prior experience scaling an implementation team from lean to "built" — including hiring, defining career paths for senior ICs, and building forecasting/capacity models. Why Us: We are a company at a meaningful inflection point — growing rapidly as part of Alkami Solutions Group, with 265 customers under contract and more than 200 in active or pending implementation. The work you do here directly determines the experience our customers have, and the rate at which we can deliver on our commitments. This role is for a senior leader who wants to build, not just manage. You will own a vertical, raise the bar on a team of senior implementers, and shape the operating model that determines how MANTL delivers on the promise we've made to hundreds of financial institutions.
