Manage health plan performance analytics and strategy execution, lead payer engagements, develop performance tracking tools, and guide a team to achieve value-based care contract goals. | Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years healthcare-related experience including 2-4 years people management, deep understanding of health plan payer landscape and value-based care, and strong multi-project management skills. | The Manager, Health Plan Performance (HPP) will play a pivotal role in advancing key business objectives for Aledade’s Health Plan Performance portfolio. This role will be responsible for executing the overall HPP strategy and facilitating the effectiveness of the HPP team. Primary Duties: • Manage analyses conducted by Analyst(s) from various internal and external datasets to pinpoint greatest areas for quality and cost interventions. • Develop performance tracking tools and metrics for monitoring progress for each contract and across the portfolio of contracts. • Guide the synthesis of performance status including key successes and opportunities by contract and communicate to leadership and other stakeholders, including payer partners in partnership with the PSE team. • Lead external payer engagements including the development of external facing materials for strategic payer partners to include deck creation, aligning performance narratives across internal matrix partners (in partnership with the PSE team), and articulating wins and opportunities with internal and external stakeholders. • Execute the HPP Strategy by partnering with key stakeholders across the three pillars of risk, affordability, and quality to deploy performance initiatives, achieve company targets, and ensure operational excellence in each market. • Translate contract terms and performance data into actionable approaches to achieve contract, market, and company-level savings and quality targets. • Partner with Aledade field teams to implement their strategic and operational plans for relevant value-based contracts to drive successful outcomes across Aledade’s provider networks, including achieving contractual quality thresholds and generating shared savings. • Provide bidirectional feedback to Aledade internal teams, and support the strategic deployment of all performance activities within the market. • Support the professional development goals and endeavors of direct reports, guiding their aspirations to align with company goals and OKRs. • Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree • 8+ years of related experience working in the healthcare industry (i.e., health plan, provider groups, hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturer, government, pharmacy chain, management consulting) with a proven track record of successfully managing projects and performance and interfacing with internal or external stakeholders. • 2-4 years of people management experience • Proven ability to effectively partner with and influence internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights and guidance. • Deep understanding of health plan payer insurance landscape and value-based care. • Must be results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to consistently meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations. Preferred Qualifications: • A Master’s degree or other advanced degrees in health services administration, health policy, mathematics/statistics, information technology, or other relevant fields is preferred. Negotiate and manage network participation agreements with health plans, track contract compliance, and support senior leadership with contract data and analysis. | 8+ years healthcare experience with health plans or providers, bachelor’s degree required, strong knowledge of health plan contracting and network agreements preferred. | The Manager, Network Contracting on the Strategic Payer Partnerships team will support and execute Aledade’s network contracts with national and regional health plans. The role is focused on negotiating and managing a portfolio of network participation agreements. In collaboration with senior leadership, the manager will interface directly with payers to negotiate new agreements and manage renewals. This role will have a strong focus on contract lifecycle management, analysis, and maintaining positive payer relationships. We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the U.S. or from our office in Bethesda, MD, Durham, NC or Austin, TX. Primary Duties: • Support negotiations for network participation agreements with payer partners, including new agreements, renewals, and amendments • Manage the full lifecycle of network participation agreements, including tracking deliverables, ensuring compliance with terms, and managing document repositories • Support senior contracting leadership by compiling data, performing rate analyses, tracking and reporting on key contract metrics, and interfacing with internal teams to execute network participation agreements Minimum Qualifications: • 8+ years in healthcare with health plans or providers • Bachelor’s degree Preferred KSA's: • Master’s degree in related field and 6+ years in network contracting or development with health plans or providers • Understanding of the health plan contracting process from initial conversations through contract signing and launch • Strong understanding of the health plan network participation agreement contracting process from initial conversations through contract signing and implementation • Proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships and communicating effectively with external parties • Results-oriented with the ability to balance a wide variety of responsibilities and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong project and process management skills • Passionate about ensuring providers are fairly reimbursed for the care they deliver Physical Requirements: • Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
