Manage clinical experience program operations, partnerships, student placements, and compliance. | Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years program management experience; strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. | POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The Clinical Experience Program Manager (CEPM) oversees the coordination and implementation of medical students' initial clinical experiences within the curriculum. These experiences are designed to provide structured exposure to clinical practice and support the development of foundational skills. The role works closely with clinical preceptors, Montefiore Health System sites, local clinic partners, and the Becoming a Physician (BAP) course team to facilitate student placements and ensure a high-quality learning environment. The CEPM manages clinical partnerships, oversees student placement processes, and supports program evaluation and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with institutional and accreditation requirements. BAP/ELCP Program • Manage the clinical experience component of the BAP course across the pre-clerkship curriculum and transition to clerkship • Oversee day-to-day program operations, including timelines, processes, and clinical education activities • Develop and refine workflows to improve operational efficiency and address program challenges • Build and maintain relationships with clinical preceptors and affiliated practice sites, including external health systems • Serve as the primary liaison to clinical partners, supporting onboarding, communication, and ongoing engagement • Coordinate and support periodic clinical site visits to assess experience quality and gather feedback • Facilitate affiliation agreements and related documentation in collaboration with institutional offices • Oversee administration of student clinical site ranking, lottery, and placement processes • Monitor placement capacity and outcomes, making adjustments as needed • Serve as a key resource for students regarding clinical experience logistics and issue resolution • Collaborate with course leadership to support course materials, scheduling, and communications • Coordinate preceptor orientation and support alignment with curriculum expectations • Support integration of clinical experiences within the broader curriculum and accreditation requirements • Track program performance, collect feedback, and implement improvements to enhance the student and preceptor experience • Maintain program records related to participation, agreements, and activities • Support budget tracking and basic reporting for program expenses • Perform other related duties as assigned; Student Training Program: • Oversee administration of required student training programs, including system access, completion tracking, and compliance • Prepare status updates and reports for program leadership • Serve as a central resource for students, faculty, staff, and clinical partners • Collaborate with internal teams to support effective program operations • Maintain confidentiality of student and site information and perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, education, public health, business administration, or a related field required; Masters is preferred; • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in program management, academic administration, healthcare operations, or a related field required. Candidates with a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of directly related experience demonstrating progressive responsibility may also be considered. Reporting to the Sr. Associate Dean, Finance & Operations, the Executive Director will lead integrated communications to elevate Einstein’s reputation as a premier academic medical and scientific research institution. This executive will lead a team of 18 to shape and elevate the reputation of Einstein as an innovative hub for biomedical research, medical and graduate education, and community engagement. The Executive Director will oversee communications & PR, web strategy & development, and creative services teams. The department’s work encompasses Einstein’s website and intranet, media relations and social media, printed and digital publications, multimedia production, graphic design and branding, internal and executive communications, and institutional messaging. The position requires a seasoned communicator with exceptional judgment, professionalism, and experience navigating complex, matrixed environments involving faculty, researchers, administrative leaders, students, donors, and external stakeholders. The leader will work collaboratively and productively with administrative colleagues and senior faculty, —including deans, department chairs, and center directors, to advance the business goals and strategic priorities of the institution, including philanthropy. The leader will establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with their marketing and public relations counterparts at Montefiore Einstein, the umbrella organization for Einstein and Montefiore Health System. The Executive Director will assume leadership roles for strategic plan initiatives, join leadership committees associated with academic accreditation, and provide strategic council for major institutional initiatives. The role will also act as the college’s communications lead for crisis and emergency communications. Position Responsibilities Strategic & Executive Communications Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive, integrated communications and public relations strategy aligned with Einstein’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities. Advance institutional reputation and visibility nationally and internationally across biomedical research and medical and graduate education. Partner closely with senior leadership to shape institutional messaging and thought leadership initiatives. Develop speeches, presentations, talking points, op-eds, correspondence, and strategic messaging for senior leadership and the Dean’s Office. Ensure consistency of messaging across all institutional platforms and stakeholder audiences. Demonstrated success leading integrated communications and media strategies in complex organizations. Exceptional writing, editing, and executive communication skills. Proven crisis communications and reputation management experience. Experience advising senior executives and institutional leaders. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree preferred.
