This role will lead the development of analysis and process improvement frameworks to optimize department performance and ensure operational excellence. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Develop and maintain integrated project plans that align engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Coordinate cross-functional teams to track progress, identify risks, plan resource allocation, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain critical path milestones. Provide detailed program status reports to leadership while overseeing day-to-day execution of maintenance and procurement activities. Leverage advanced aviation maintenance experience to oversee high-complexity repairs, modifications, and inspections, ensuring adherence to FAA regulations and company standards. Drive the analysis and adherence to key performance indicators, leading the development and implementation of process improvements for maintenance and procurement operations. Review and maintain major Repair Alteration certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. Manage special projects as assigned, incorporating sourcing strategies and advanced maintenance expertise. Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Smartsheet (preferred). In-depth knowledge of and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Air Methods Operations Manual, and other required manuals, with a commitment to maintaining aircraft airworthiness per FAA and company standards. Extensive expertise in aviation maintenance practices, including troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of complex aircraft systems. Strong sourcing and procurement skills, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supply chain optimization within the aviation sector. Proven leadership, planning, organizational, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical maintenance and procurement concepts across different functional teams and management levels. Advanced analytical and data skills preferred, including proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI for process optimization and performance tracking.
