The Senior Program Manager will lead program implementation, ensuring effective use of AidKit by partners and recipients. Experience with nonprofits or NGOs and managing multiple programs is essential. | About the Role We are looking for a talented Senior Program Manager to lead program implementation. Please note: This is a contract position tied to the funding duration of specific grants or contracts. The position is expected to continue through December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension contingent upon the renewal or extension of funding. Your role will require you to: Drive the direction of the overall program lifecycle, assuring that all aspects of AidKit are being used correctly and effectively by partners and recipient, that the assistance dollars are reaching recipients in a timely manner, and that reporting and reconciliation processes are completed. Build and manage lasting relationships with our key government and non-profit partners. Collaborate with our customers, partners, and the AidKit technical team to design and build the tools to support financial assistance programs Take responsibility for ensuring accessible design and dignified user experience by performing user experience testing, gathering and implementing feedback from stakeholders, and translating program needs to our software engineers Manage the program using data driven decisions using data analysis and visualization tools Drive resolution of critical issues for customers, partners, and beneficiaries, including root cause analysis and course corrections resulting in more efficient program implementation Manage multiple programs simultaneously About You Minimum Requirements You are located in the US You care deeply about the mission of direct aid and supporting anyone who needs help, no matter where they come from You are committed to putting the people we serve first and using the recipients-first mindset as a compass to guide decision making You are driven, deliberate, and analytical You are a team player and you know when to ask for help You have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience in program management or a masters’ degree and 3+ years of professional experience (assuming relevant coursework). The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000. Design and develop a no/low-code platform across front-end and back-end layers, write clean and secure code, participate in design and code reviews, and contribute to technical and product roadmaps. | Experience building full-stack web applications, preferably with Typescript and React, ability to handle ambiguous problems, and bonus for architectural design and large scale infrastructure experience. | About the Role As a salaried software engineer, your role will consist of building our no/low-code platform that allows organizations doing good to build a bespoke experience without bespoke software. Our stack looks roughly as follows: Front-end: Typescript, React & Tailwind Back-end: Typescript, Postgres and DynamoDB (with some Python we’re slowly deprecating). Infrastructure: Pulumi as Code deployments on AWS. About the Role The Applicant Review & Support Specialist (RSS) will use AidKit’s platform to provide support for the Cook County Homeowner Relief program - a short-term program offering one-time assistance of $1,000 to 15,000+ low-income homeowners in Cook County, Chicago affected by recent increases in property taxes. Key Responsibilities Leverage AidKit’s custom platform to conduct thorough application reviews carefully and quickly, validating correct documents, flagging where corrected documentation is needed or potential fraud to ensure compliance with program and documentation requirements. Participate in program-specific training sessions and RSS team meetings. Collaborate with other RSS and Managers to identify common applicant issues, reduce fraud, and improve AidKit’s overall recipient support process. Respond to customer support tickets via phone, email, and text using AidKit's custom tools, ensuring accurate, friendly, and timely responses. Troubleshoot applicant issues during the application and payment processes to ensure timely resolution. Available to work 25-40 hours per week during the program period Compensation and Location This is a fully remote, independent contractor position. Hourly Rate: $30/hour, paid bi-weekly. Hours: 25-40 hours/week (flexible schedule but may require set shifts to ensure coverage). Please note that hours may fluctuate based on program demand, and AidKit cannot guarantee a minimum number of hours. Duration: mid September - December with training scheduled prior.
