Advise on international tax issues, conduct tax research and strategy, and implement indirect tax software for SaaS and DTC clients. | 5-15 years of tax experience including public accounting and in-house roles, CPA or EA certification, degree in Accounting or Tax, strong organizational and communication skills, and entrepreneurial spirit. | Tax Manager, International and Indirect – SaaS Platform – REMOTE Our client is a fast-growing, VC-backed SaaS company that’s working to transform sales tax compliance for other emerging growth companies in the DTC and SaaS industries. They’ve raised over 10M from top investors, are scaling quickly, and are currently searching for a high-impact individual to join their team. The position is 100% remote and partners with the firm’s Head of Tax, who has scaled several tech startups of similar stage and size. This individual will be responsible for a combination of tax strategy and research, systems build-out, and compliance. Responsibilities: • Advise on complex international tax issues, with a focus on VAT/GST compliance across EU, UK, EMEA, and North America. • Conduct research, develop strategies, and provide planning support on cross-border tax matters. • Work directly with mid-market SaaS and DTC clientele to streamline indirect tax software and implement the platform into their current needs. Requirements • Undergraduate/Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax • 5-15 years of Tax experience with a combination of public accounting and in-house tax work at a growth-based tech company • CPA or EA designation • Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for the startup space • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Team player and collaborator; excellent communications skills. • Must be motivated, organized, flexible and proactive.
