Contact healthcare facilities and doctors’ offices to request records and answer emails. Provide good customer service on the phone/ via email. Follow company policies and laws to protect confidentiality. Report any issues to the Manager. Keep the Supervisor updated with necessary information. Report any customer service issues or potential HIPAA violations. Inform the Supervisor about any work difficulties or special requests. Help with extra tasks when needed. Stay informed about HIPAA regulations and facility policies. Use Microsoft Word and Excel for back-end tasks. Ensure accurate data entry. Be flexible and handle challenging situations professionally. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Effective communication in English. Previous administrative or back-office experience, especially in healthcare, is preferred. Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. Understanding of medical records processes and HIPAA regulations. Strong organizational skills to manage workload and meet goals.

Learn and apply HEDIS abstraction concepts through training and assist in training abstractors during the live season. | Minimum 2 years of HEDIS abstraction experience plus medical coder certification or active nursing license. | Job Title: HEDIS Auditor Trainee Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal. This role is a prerequisite for the auditor position where you will be providing knowledge transfer of the information you learned during training, to abstractors during their training phase and during the live season. • Must acquire a base score of 97.5% overall. • Complete all training in the defined timeline. • Must attempt all training as scheduled in the HEDIS training planner which will be provided on Day 1 of your training or communicate to HEDIS Manager with any changes in schedule. • Must have a professional attitude and willingness to learn. Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years/seasons of experience in HEDIS Abstraction / Review • Medical Coder Certification: CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA through AAPC or AHIMA OR • Licensed Nurse: LPN, LVN, RN with an active license
