Manage operations of the utility service division, oversee safety, productivity, and client relations, and ensure contract compliance. | Degree in Forestry, Natural Resource Science, or related field, with 3-5 years of field experience in the Green Industry, and a valid driver’s license. | ACRT, Inc. Full time Regular Job Summary Description: Plan, direct, coordinate, and manage the operations of the utility service division; Serve as the liaison between the field, corporate office, and the client; Ensure operational corporate objectives are accomplished through safety, productivity, work quality and techniques, and profit. Working Conditions: Office Environment and Field Environments Duties & Responsibilities Essential & Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Attain profit and quality objectives Direct worker productivity Supervise and train employees Pursue new work leads and opportunities that will be handed off to sales team Submit and/or review time sheets, job cost, profitability, audit, productivity, and purchase reports Implement ACRT policies and procedures Conduct driver testing Start up new contracts Monitor job cost and budget Coordinate work schedules Promote, implement, and monitor safety measures Attend and conduct meetings to ensure the terms and conditions of the contract are being met Communicate with client and ACRT Attend trade shows Responsible and legal staffing, termination, disciplinary, wage, and promotion consideration and actions Assist Senior Operations Manager and President Participate with industry organization Ongoing training for self and employees Report status to Senior Operations Manager Equipment, environmental and safety requirements: Physical Requirements: Office and Field Environments: Working conditions may include an office environment, and field environment at client’s work site, navigating rough terrain on contracted work site, walking long distances in various climates, working from home and working while traveling, via plane, car, etc. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work beyond normal ACRT business hours. Position duties essentially depend on mostly sedentary work, consisting of sitting, occasional walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying 20 pounds maximum. Seeing, speaking and operating a vehicle or willingness to travel by airline or other modes of public transportation is essential. Qualifications: Education and Experience Requirements: Degree in Forestry, Natural Resource Science, Arboriculture, Horticulture, or related discipline 3-5 years field experience in the Green Industry Job Desirables (Education, Requisite Experience, Training, Certifications, Licensing, etc.) Required Skills: Frequent and extensive travel Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record Desirables/Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist ISA Certified Utility Specialist State Pesticide Applicators License Supervisor Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the work of subordinates to ensure the terms, conditions, and request of the contract and client are being met in accordance with ACRT policies, procedures, safety program, standards of quality, and target profit.
