Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, mission-critical transaction processing applications on Tandem/HP NonStop systems. | 7+ years in enterprise software development with strong expertise in Tandem/HP NonStop, COBOL, TAL, and data replication tools like Shadowbase or Oracle GoldenGate. | Role: Tandem/HP NonStop Engineer Location: 100% Remote (Berkeley Heights, NJ) Long Term Contract – W2 / C2C Core Skills & Experience: • 7+ years of software development in enterprise environments, preferably large financial institutions, banks, or payment systems. • Strong hands-on experience with Tandem / HP NonStop systems (critical for transaction processing environments). • Proficiency in COBOL and TAL (Transaction Application Language) development. • Prior experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, mission-critical applications (e.g., high-volume transaction processing). • Solid knowledge of data replication and synchronization tools — especially Shadowbase or Oracle GoldenGate. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex legacy systems. • Ability to work in cross-functional teams with business and technology stakeholders. • Strong communication and documentation skills.
