Designing and reviewing marketing curriculum, developing lesson plans, and creating assessments aligned with standards. | Requires a Master's in Marketing or related field, curriculum development experience, and familiarity with educational standards, which you do not have. | Job Overview: Academian Inc. is seeking a qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Marketing to join our team on a 3-4 month contract. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge in Marketing, strong curriculum development experience, and a deep understanding of the Texas education framework or postsecondary standards. This role involves reviewing existing content, developing lesson plans, and creating assessments to ensure the materials align with Texas-specific academic expectations and broader learning objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Curriculum Development: Design and develop an engaging curriculum for Foundations for Marketing that meets educational standards and aligns with learning objectives. • Lesson Plan Finalization: Collaborate with the instructional team to finalize lesson plans that effectively convey key concepts in Foundations for Marketing. • Content Review and Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of existing content to identify gaps and areas for improvement. • New Content Writing: Create new content to address missing elements or update outdated information, ensuring accuracy and relevance. • Assessment Writing: Develop assessments that effectively evaluate student understanding and mastery of the material. • Relevant Example Writing: Provide real-world examples and case studies to enhance the learning experience and facilitate comprehension. Qualifications: • Master’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. • Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning. • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise educational materials. • Familiarity with assessment design and best practices in education. • Excellent analytical skills for conducting content reviews and gap analysis. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Preferred Experience: • Previous experience as a Subject Matter Expert or instructional designer in an academic or educational setting. • Demonstrated experience working with Texas education standards, frameworks, or higher education institutions. • Knowledge of current trends and advancements in marketing. Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
