About the role We’re looking for a Product Marketing Director to lead the product narrative, growth content strategy, and go-to-market execution at Abacum. This is a senior, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of product, marketing, sales, and partnerships. You’ll define and drive the strategic positioning of our platform, ensure strong product adoption and revenue impact, and lead the storytelling that fuels demand, conversion, and category leadership. You’ll own four core pillars: 1. Organic Growth & Content Strategy 2. Core Product Marketing & Enablement 3. Sales Enablement & Support 4. Design Enablement & Creative Direction This is a hands-on, high-impact role with visibility across the executive team, working closely with the co-founder and CEO. You’ll shape how the world sees Abacum—and how we grow. What You'll Own 1. Core Product Marketing & GTM Execution - Lead product positioning and messaging across use cases and themes (what we call Umbrella Topics), personas, and verticals. Continuously evolve and refine our ICP and value props. - Build and scale go-to-market plans for product launches in collaboration with Product, Design, CS, and Sales. - Drive competitive intelligence, with full ownership over battlecards. Tracking feature releases and go-to-market motions from key players—translating them into actionable insights for Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Leadership. 2. Organic Growth & Thought Leadership - Define granularly the content and campaign architecture: umbrella topics, themes, and narratives that power paid media, SEO, social, website, and lifecycle campaigns. - Shape the organic content strategy to drive awareness, traffic, and conversion across key buyer personas. - Create and contribute to thought leadership creation, including blogposts, website content and GTM plays. Sales and Partner Enablement & Support - Equip AEs, Partner Managers and BDRs with cadence content, messaging frameworks, value narratives, objection-handling guides, and persona-based storytelling. - Create and deliver ad-hoc training sessions that are actionable and trackable across GTM teams. - Develop assets to support outbound motions tied to product launches and campaigns. - Conduct win/loss analysis and performance to refine messaging, improve sales and partner conversations, and identify gaps in enablement or product functionality. 4. Creative Enablement & Design Collaboration - Partner with our Design and Brand team to define creative direction, asset needs, and campaign visuals. - Provide content inputs and structure for marketing and product collateral (e.g., landing pages, videos, demos, one-pagers). What You’ll Support (But Not Own) You'll closely collaborate with external specialists and internal stakeholders on: - Newsletters and lifecycle comms - Events and webinars - Strategic video production - Gartner and market research analysis - Founders' social thought leadership (e.g., LinkedIn) - Deep-dive ICP and messaging sprints What You Bring - 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years in product marketing and 2+ years in a people management or strategic role. - Experience in B2B SaaS—ideally with a deep understanding of the FP&A Space. - You’re both strategic and hands-on: equally comfortable setting the GTM narrative and jumping in to write a landing page or sales deck. - You are a doer, have a bias for action and are obsessed with details. - You are very curious, and love learning in depth all about a new persona, a new product and a new market - and end up knowing it better than everyone else in the company. - Excellent writing and communication skills—you translate complexity into crisp, customer-first messaging. - Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across Product, Sales, Design, and Customer teams. - Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Notion, Figma, Webflow, Lusha, and Apollo for building content and workflows. About the role We’re looking for a hands-on, full-stack Head of Marketing to help shape and drive our next chapter of growth. This means owning the direct channel pipeline at Abacum: - Demand Generation - Product Marketing - Content - Allbound Business Development - Brand Design This role is for someone who knows how to lead, execute, test, and optimize across the entire pipeline funnel. The ideal candidate brings experience in business planning platforms and developing multi-channel GTM approaches. You'll champion a data-driven growth experimentation engine, fostering a culture of testing, learning, and optimizing across acquisition channels. Success will be measured by ARR generated and Sales Qualified Pipeline. Additionally, you’ll grow and manage a high-performing growth team in NYC and Barcelona. You will foster collaboration with partnerships, sales and product teams, ensuring agile execution, operational rigor, and shared accountability. What You'll Own - Full accountability for Abacum’s direct pipeline generation execution, partnering closely with Sales, Partnerships and Product to drive Abacum’s efficient growth strategy. - Build and scale a high-performing Marketing and Allbound function, including KPIs, leading and lagging indicators, team structure and agile processes, all with a clear alignment to ARR goals. - Run a disciplined, experimentation-driven growth engine with an analytics and ROI mindset. The goal is to identify the key levers to double down on and to optimize conversion across the funnel to increase ARR with efficiency. - Enable Partnerships and Sales teams both in the US and EMEA to increase their conversion rates and ultimately ARR - including marketing assets, campaigns, events, initiatives, training and coaching. - Own brand, content, messaging, and community-building, ensuring fast execution and delivery of campaigns and assets with consistency in tone and excellence. What You Bring - 12+ years in marketing, including 4+ years leading teams in high-growth B2B SaaS, ideally at Series B-D stage. - Proven success in demand generation and pipeline growth, with an obsession with ARR impact and leading high-performing teams based on inputs and metrics. - Strong ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, building scalable systems while staying very hands-on and close to the work. - Strong curiosity and ability to quickly learn and master new markets and personas in detail, becoming a reference across the company for deep knowledge of the problem space, the ICP, and the product. - Obsessive approach to A/B testing to make lead generation thrive, from strategy, tooling, setting up campaigns to testing tactics (e.g. changing copy and creatives) to better convert. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working closely with Sales, Partnerships and Product.
