Summary The Field Enablement Manager is responsible for building, leading, and optimizing Zutek’s field execution capability across all regions. This role hires and develops Regional Managers and oversees field technicians while ensuring both W2 and contracted teams are fully enabled to execute at the highest standard. This role ensures consistent, high-quality field performance across all regions by: • Build and lead a high-performing Regional Manager structure • Optimize W2 technician utilization, development, and career progression • Ensure field excellence across both W2 and contracted teams in partnership with Contractor Development • Serve as the escalation leader for real-time field execution challenges • Own technician project training, SOP clarity, and project readiness • Develop leaders, elevate field capability, and create scalable systems that reduce friction and increase execution velocity • Partner with Contractor Development to strengthen and grow Zutek’s national technician community Duties/Responsibilities: Regional Manager Leadership • Hire, train, and manage Field Technicians and Field Supervisors • Define clear performance standards and expectations for RMs • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching conversations • Ensure consistency in execution standards across regions • Drive accountability for field KPIs at the regional level • W2 Technician Workforce Management • Oversee all field technicians, directly or through Field Supervisors • Improve technician utilization and productivity • Ensure high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and safety • Partner with Professional Services to align technician capacity with project needs • Develop career pathways and growth opportunities for high-performing technicians • Drive professionalism and brand representation in the field • Field Oversight of Contracted Crews In partnership with the Manager, Contractor Development & Trade Network: • Support deployed contract crews to ensure adherence to Zutek standards • Address field performance concerns in real time • Provide structured feedback on contractor performance • Reinforce SOPs, safety protocols, and quality requirements Note: Contractor sourcing, negotiation, and vendor contracts remain the responsibility of Contractor Development. Field Problem Solving & Escalation Leadership • Serve as the senior escalation point for technical and execution-related field issues • Troubleshoot installation challenges, scope gaps, and equipment conflicts • Coordinate rapid cross-functional resolution with Project Management and Engineering • Remove execution barriers impacting timeline or quality This role focuses on technical and operational problem solving — not administrative scheduling or travel logistics. Certification, Training & Field Readiness • Ensure all W2 and contracted technicians maintain required certifications • Partner with Contractor Development to ensure documentation compliance • Identify skill gaps and drive structured training initiatives • Support development, refinement, and adoption of field SOPs • Build a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth Technician Community & Culture Development • Nurture and strengthen Zutek’s technician network nationwide • Build loyalty and repeat engagement among both W2 and contracted teams • Reinforce Zutek’s values: Care, Collaboration, Commitment • Identify and mentor emerging field leaders Field Performance & KPI Ownership • Drive performance metrics including: • Technician utilization • First-time quality • Rework reduction • On-time execution • Field cost control • Analyze field data and implement performance improvement plans • Ensure consistent reporting through Regional Managers Required Skills/Abilities: • Strong leadership experience managing multi-region field teams • Ability to build and develop leaders (Regional Managers) • Technical troubleshooting expertise (POS, digital signage, networking, electrical) • Strong coaching and accountability skills • Experience balancing W2 and contractor workforce models • Ability to remain composed under field pressure and manage escalations • Strong understanding of field KPIs and operational metrics Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in electronic technology, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field preferred • Associate degree with significant field leadership experience considered • 7–10 years of progressive field operations leadership experience • Experience managing Regional Managers and distributed field teams required Digital signage and/or POS experience preferred
