Role Overview: As an Underwriting Account Service Manager I on the Middle Markets team, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and supporting underwriting operations. This position is based in Boston with a hybrid work schedule, offering flexibility while ensuring close collaboration with your team and clients. What You'll Do: - You will manage and nurture client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention. - You will collaborate with underwriters to develop tailored insurance solutions for middle market clients. - You will oversee the account service process, ensuring timely and accurate policy administration. - You will coordinate with internal teams to resolve client inquiries and issues efficiently. - You will assist in the preparation and review of underwriting documentation and reports. - You will support the implementation of process improvements to enhance service delivery. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements. - You will partner with your manager to establish a flexible work schedule that balances productivity and work-life balance. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting support or account management within the insurance industry. - Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and policy administration. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective client and team relationships. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in middle market insurance or commercial lines underwriting. - Familiarity with Zurich’s underwriting systems and tools. - Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives. - Relevant industry certifications such as CPCU or ARM.
