Role Overview: As an Underwriting Account Service Manager I within our Specialties Construction team, you will play a crucial role in managing client accounts and supporting underwriting activities. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with underwriters and brokers to ensure accurate and timely service delivery, contributing to the overall success of the team. What You'll Do: - You will manage and service a portfolio of specialty construction accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. - You will collaborate with underwriters to assess risk and develop tailored insurance solutions. - You will coordinate with brokers and clients to facilitate policy issuance and endorsements. - You will maintain accurate and up-to-date account records and documentation. - You will assist in the preparation of underwriting submissions and presentations. - You will monitor account performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders. - You will support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - You will contribute to process improvements to enhance service efficiency. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting account management or a related insurance role. - Strong knowledge of specialty construction insurance products and industry practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and internal teams. - Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within a large insurance company or brokerage. - Familiarity with Zurich’s underwriting guidelines and systems. - Relevant industry certifications such as CPCU or ARM. - Demonstrated leadership or project management experience.
