What You'll Do: - You will assist Underwriters in evaluating and analyzing large casualty insurance risks. - You will support the preparation and processing of underwriting documentation and reports. - You will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to gather necessary information. - You will help maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies. - You will participate in risk assessment meetings and contribute insights. - You will manage administrative tasks to streamline underwriting processes. - You will communicate effectively with brokers and clients to facilitate smooth transactions. - You will continuously update your knowledge of industry trends and underwriting practices. What You Bring: - You have 1-3 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field. - You possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and underwriting software. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - You demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - You are organized and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience specifically in large casualty or commercial insurance underwriting. - Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and insurance regulations. - Relevant industry certifications such as CPCU or ARM. - Familiarity with Zurich’s underwriting systems and processes.
