What You'll Do: - You will support Underwriters in evaluating and analyzing insurance risks for middle market accounts. - You will assist in preparing and reviewing underwriting documentation and proposals. - You will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to gather necessary information. - You will help maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies. - You will participate in risk assessment meetings and contribute insights. - You will manage administrative tasks related to underwriting accounts. - You will assist in monitoring account performance and identifying potential issues. - You will contribute to continuous process improvements within the underwriting team. What You Bring: - You bring 1-3 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field. - You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - You possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and underwriting software. - You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience specifically in middle market insurance underwriting. - Knowledge of risk management principles and insurance products. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the insurance industry. - Relevant industry certifications such as CPCU or ARM.
