Role Overview: As an Underwriting Account Service Analyst on the Crop Underwriting team in Sioux Falls, you will play a crucial role in supporting crop insurance agent customers and collaborating with experienced underwriters. Your work will involve reviewing and analyzing risks to ensure accurate and efficient underwriting processes. What You'll Do: - You will support crop insurance agents by providing timely and accurate account service. - You will collaborate with underwriters to review and analyze risk data for crop insurance policies. - You will assist in the preparation and processing of insurance documentation and policy changes. - You will communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to resolve inquiries and issues. - You will maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. - You will contribute to process improvements to enhance underwriting efficiency and customer satisfaction. - You will stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting crop insurance. What You Bring: - You bring 2+ years of experience in insurance underwriting or account service, preferably in crop insurance. - You have strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and interpret data accurately. - You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with agents and internal teams. - You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with insurance software systems. - You demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) or similar underwriting platforms. - Knowledge of crop insurance products and regulatory requirements. - Prior experience in a customer service role within the insurance industry. - Certification or coursework related to insurance underwriting or risk management.
