Role Overview: As an Underwriting Account Service Analyst on the Crop Underwriting team in Sioux Falls, you will play a crucial role in supporting crop insurance agent customers and collaborating with experienced underwriters. Your work will involve reviewing and analyzing risks to ensure accurate and efficient underwriting processes. What You'll Do: - You will support crop insurance agents by providing timely and accurate service. - You will collaborate closely with underwriters to review and analyze risk data. - You will assist in the preparation and processing of underwriting documentation. - You will maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with company policies. - You will communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the underwriting process. - You will help resolve customer inquiries and issues related to underwriting accounts. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field. - You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and underwriting software. - You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience specifically in crop insurance underwriting. - Knowledge of risk assessment and insurance regulations. - Familiarity with RCIS systems and tools. - Previous experience working in a team-oriented environment.
