Full Description

Zurich is currently hiring an Application Support Specialist I to join their Application Support Center team. The successful candidate will provide support services to internal customers related to an application/set of applications covering a range of responsibilities focusing on repetitive activities, following instructions and incident resolution. Is eligible to grow through project driven work as well as market and product expertise that needs to be built up to meet the number and variety of customer portfolios. Applicant Support Specialist are responsible for a variety of tasks: • Performs standardized operational tasks to ensure that the service levels and performance are met. • Takes action where necessary to address or escalate performance or operational issues. • Reports service performance to line management and provides feedback on execution of standardized operational tasks to business. • Complies with IT service management governance, standards and polices. • Provides input for service level performance reports to the business generating improvement actions where necessary. • Supports the end-user satisfaction process and service improvement programs. • Manages incident escalations and complaints, working with the Business Unit to resolve individual service issues. • Supports business in disaster recovery testing. Basic Qualifications: • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Application Support area OR • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Application Support area Preferred Qualifications: • Insurance Industry Experience • Customer support experience • Strong technical and analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication • Ability to work in fast paced work environment Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply—your unique background matters to us. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed hourly rate range for this position is $24.04 - $28.85, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%.
