Company Description ZUMAS Rescue Ranch, a nonprofit organization based on a 126-acre campus in Littleton, CO, is dedicated to rescuing homeless animals and pairing them with humans for animal-assisted therapy programs. The ranch is home to over 50 animals and offers more than 70 hours of education and therapy weekly. ZUMAS also provides equestrian education programs for individuals aged 3 and up and organizes unique corporate coaching days, events, and volunteer opportunities to engage the community. The organization is committed to making a meaningful impact by fostering connections between animals and people. Role Description This is an internship role for a Social Media Intern with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be performed remotely while being based in Littleton, CO. The intern will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and managing social media content across various platforms, engaging with online communities, and monitoring social media campaigns. Additional responsibilities include assisting in content creation such as graphics and video, developing posting strategies, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize reach and engagement. Qualifications • Strong understanding of Social Media Platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter • Creative skills in Content Creation, Video Editing, and Graphic Design • Knowledge of Digital Marketing principles and experience with Social Media Analytics tools • Strong Communication Skills and the ability to craft engaging posts • Detail-oriented with Time Management and Multitasking abilities • Demonstrated interest in nonprofit work, animals, or therapy programs is a plus • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools is advantageous • Pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
