Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fleet Operations Manager in Cincinatti, OH. This role is responsible for overseeing daily transportation operations, fleet management, safety compliance, and regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in transportation operations, DOT regulations, and driver safety programs, who can balance operational efficiency with strict compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Operations & Fleet Management • Oversee fleet operations, including maintenance, dispatch, scheduling, and vehicle availability • Coordinate in-house and third-party repairs, ensuring timely service completion • Perform daily key audits and account for all vehicles on-site • Manage vehicle onboarding and decommissioning processes • Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures • Analyze performance metrics and develop strategies for operational improvement • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery Safety & Compliance • Monitor and enforce driver safety protocols across assigned locations • Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews • Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations (including DOT requirements) • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for driver qualifications, background checks, and drug & alcohol testing • Investigate accidents and incidents, developing corrective action plans • Partner with driver services and safety teams to ensure full compliance with company standards and contracts • Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements Leadership & Support • Lead, mentor, and support operations staff and drivers • Assist in developing and delivering driver training and safety programs • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing work environment • Address customer inquiries and resolve operational issues efficiently • Communicate effectively with drivers, leadership, and regulatory agencies Qualifications • Proven experience in transportation operations, logistics, or fleet management • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Experience with transportation management systems and reporting tools • Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions • Valid Driver’s License What We Offer • Competitive salary (based on experience) • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with company match • Paid time off and paid holidays • Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization • Supportive, mission-driven team environment
