Configure and implement Workday Time and Absence modules, support projects, and advise clients.
Active Workday certification and 2+ years experience in Workday Time and Absence modules required.
Job Title: Workday Time & Absence Consultant Location: Remote Type of hire: Contract Job Description : Top 3 Skillsets: 1) Workday Time Tracking, 2) Workday Absence Management, 3) a Current Workday Certification in either of these (or both) mandatory. Key Job Responsibilities • System Configuration & Design: Configure Workday Time Tracking (e.g., time entry, clocks) and Absence Management (e.g., accruals, plans, leave types) to meet client needs. • Implementation & Project Support: Lead or support full-lifecycle implementations, creating workplans, managing project scope, risks, and budgets. • Requirement Gathering & Prototyping: Work with clients to define requirements and demonstrate design options through prototyping. • Testing & Data Conversion: Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and convert legacy data into Workday. • Support & Maintenance: Resolve day-to-day functional issues, manage year-end processes, and ensure legal/regulatory compliance. • Subject Matter Expertise: Advise clients on industry-leading practices for time and leave management. Required Skills & Qualifications • Certification: Active Workday Time Tracking and Absence certification. • Experience: Proven experience implementing or managing Workday Time and Absence modules (2+ years for Consultants, 4-6+ years for Leads/Managers). • Functional Expertise: Deep understanding of global time tracking, overtime rules,, and absence/accrual calculations. • Communication: Strong consulting skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and provide guidance. • Education: Any Degree, Graduation Preferred.
