We’re looking for an experienced Staff Business Systems Analyst - Payroll Application (Dayforce Focus) to join our Corporate IT Business Applications team. This role offers flexibility to work remotely within the United States, with a preference for candidates based near our San Jose, CA office who can participate in a hybrid schedule (3 days per week onsite). Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Payroll Application, you will be responsible for: Application management as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Dayforce Payroll application, ensuring optimal usage and system performance Collaborating with payroll and HR stakeholders to gather and document business requirements to align processes with system capabilities Leading system upgrades, integrations, and configuration projects, analyzing business needs to design solutions that improve workforce management efficiency Investigating and resolving payroll system issues while providing end-user support and training Generating reports and dashboards to provide insights into payroll operations and HR metrics and addressing data needs What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field 7+ years of experience managing payroll applications with strong focus on Dayforce or similar payroll applications like ADP or Workday Payroll Solid understanding of payroll processes, federal and state labor laws, tax laws, and compliance measures Proven ability to configure and optimize payroll systems and document workflows with technical implementation strategies What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience integrating Dayforce with ERP or HCM systems Dayforce skills - WFM, Benefits, Integration Studio, and Timesheets Dayforce ICP implementation experience #LI-Remote #LI-YC2 Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
