VMware and Storage SME Location: Rancho Cucamonga CA / Remote Duration: C2C/Fulltime Job Description: The responsibilities of Engineer III- VMware and Storage include the following: • Implement, Maintain and Support VMware vSphere • Implement, Maintain and Support VMware vROps, Skyline and other related VMware infrastructure and monitoring tools. • Implement, Maintain and Support DNS, DHCP, SSL Certificates and internal CA servers. • In accordance with change management policy, make changes to system software and hardware so that performance meets company’s objectives and maintain SLA’s. • Experience with implementing and maintaining anti-virus on systems. • Experience with SCCM and patch management for monthly security updates and patches. • Manage and apply necessary system security access. • Analyze performance indicators to ensure that systems are operating efficiently. • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and associated products. • Build and maintain Windows servers and associated applications in a highly available, scalable, and secure environment. • Hands on experience with installing/racking physical servers and appliances. • Installing and configuring ESX-i on physical hosts for vSphere. • Basic knowledge of SAN/WAN/LAN networking • Exposure and experience with Azure as an extension of the Windows Server environment. • Perform root cause analysis for VMware and Windows related issues. • Linux Red hat and other Linux OS experience is a plus. • Team player and ability to work well with others. • Experience working in the Healthcare Industry will be an added advantage.
