Job Title: Vice President, Engineering Overview We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Vice President of Engineering to lead and grow our software engineering organization. This role is a critical member of our leadership team, responsible for developing people, scaling engineering practices, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable product delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Leadership: • Define and drive the long-term engineering vision and roadmap in alignment with company goals. • Act as a strategic partner to Product, Learning Solutions, and Sales to shape our platform and user experience. • Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels managing up to senior leadership and guiding direct reports with transparency, clarity, and influence. • People & Culture Development: • Attract, mentor, and retain top engineering talent while fostering a strong, inclusive, and high-performing culture. • Champion career development through coaching, feedback, and a commitment to continuous learning. • Operational Excellence: • Implement and refine Agile and DevSecOps practices that drive efficient and reliable software delivery. • Establish metrics to measure engineering effectiveness and drive accountability across teams. • Technical Oversight: • Guide architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability. • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies that support our growth and innovation. Qualifications: • Proven experience leading engineering teams at scale (preferably in a SaaS, B2B, and B2C environment). • Strong background in modern software development practices, cloud infrastructure, Salesforce, and agile delivery. • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a cross-functional, collaborative environment. • Deep belief in the power of learning organizations, with a track record of growing both people and process maturity. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical vision into business impact. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
