Company Enterprise cybersecurity is broken. Current annual cybersecurity spending is roughly $150B, with most enterprises spending heavily to deploy, manage, and configure 100s of different tools for marginal security benefit. At Zip, our goal is to build software that makes enterprise cybersecurity reasonable – to reduce bloat by bundling and configuring opinionated security tooling, synchronizing everything from device management to application security under one central pane of glass. Multiple companies with security offerings from Google to Jamf are now releasing APIs that allow automated management, and with new government efforts to publish data on the global security risk landscape, there’s a unique opportunity to be the first in the market to properly integrate and build a full-stack, opinionated, enterprise security company. About The Role As a Product Designer, you will design new security and IT workflows from the ground up. You’ll also be responsible for identifying and redesigning areas where our user experience can be improved across our platform. We’re looking for a design leader with a strong product sense who can guide the overall vision to create a more user friendly, cohesive experience in Zip. This position is hybrid, with flexible in-person days in our New York City office. What you'll do Design products and features that break down hard security and IT problems into intuitive, beautiful user experiences. Run projects end to end from outlining the product strategy, to creating design explorations, mocking up polished final designs, and working with engineers to drive your vision to the ship line. Prototype your designs and run user testing, working closely with our design partners and users to design the right thing Identify friction and gaps in our UX to propose and execute redesigns or refreshes to improve the user-friendliness of our platform Partner with our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to understand what each of our user personas need. Use insights to prioritize our product roadmap, and tell effective user stories in our marketing channels. We'd love to hear from you if: You have 5+ years of experience designing enterprise products and running projects independently end to end. You are excited to understand complex technical problems, translate them to user stories, and tackle them with a user-centric design process. You are not attached to any precedents and are willing to iterate, adapt, or even overhaul existing flows. You have strong product-thinking skills and an intuition for the accessible mental models and flows You move quickly and intentionally, bias towards impact, and can advocate for building the smallest impactful thing You have experience mentoring junior designers and providing consistent design feedback
