You will work closely with the Government Relations Team to anticipate policy challenges, unlock opportunities for innovation, and influence legislative and regulatory outcomes that impact the real estate industry. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement strategic public policy initiatives that align with Zillow's business goals. - You will monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments affecting the real estate market. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and community leaders. - You will lead advocacy efforts to promote Zillow's interests at local, state, and federal levels. - You will collaborate cross-functionally with legal, communications, and product teams to ensure cohesive policy strategies. - You will anticipate emerging policy trends and advise senior leadership on potential impacts and opportunities. - You will represent Zillow at industry events, public forums, and government hearings. What You Bring: - You have 7+ years of experience in public policy, government relations, or a related field. - You possess deep knowledge of real estate policy, housing markets, and regulatory environments. - You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legislation and policy documents. - You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. - You have proven leadership experience managing teams and driving cross-functional initiatives. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within or closely with the real estate industry. - Background in legal or regulatory affairs related to housing and urban development. - Established network of contacts within government agencies and legislative bodies. - Advanced degree in public policy, law, or related disciplines.
