Role Overview: As a Senior Manager, Public Policy at Zillow, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the company's public policy initiatives. You will work closely with the Government Relations Team to anticipate policy challenges, unlock opportunities for innovation, and influence legislative and regulatory outcomes that impact the real estate industry. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement strategic public policy initiatives that align with Zillow's business goals. - You will monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments affecting the real estate market. - You will build and maintain relationships with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and community leaders. - You will lead advocacy efforts to promote Zillow's interests at local, state, and federal levels. - You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure policy alignment and support business objectives. - You will prepare and present policy briefs, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership. - You will identify emerging policy trends and advise on potential impacts and opportunities. - You will represent Zillow at industry events, coalitions, and public forums. What You Bring: - You have 7+ years of experience in public policy, government relations, or a related field. - You possess strong knowledge of real estate policy, housing markets, and regulatory environments. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders. - You demonstrate strategic thinking and the ability to manage complex policy issues. - You are skilled in advocacy, negotiation, and coalition-building. - You hold a bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, law, or a related discipline. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within the real estate or technology sectors. - Advanced degree such as a JD or Master's in Public Policy. - Established network of contacts in government and industry. - Proven track record of successful policy advocacy and legislative wins.
