About the role As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will support and play a pivotal role in executing the compensation planning and performance agenda for Zillow’s Enhanced Markets. This role requires expertise in sales operations, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable solutions and actionable insights that drive revenue growth and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and possess strong attention to detail. The focus is on executing, analyzing, and optimizing compensation strategies and performance measures. Key Responsibilities Compensation Planning & Insights Analyze compensation performance, attainment trends, cost of sales/ROI, and regional performance versus supply and demand to deliver actionable insights to sales leadership and frontline teams. Support the administration of variable compensation structures and incentive programs, ensuring data and reporting needed for compensation payouts are accurate and provided to the Sales Finance team. Collaborate with Sales Finance, HR, Legal, FP&A, and Sales Leadership to recommend compensation mechanics and performance measures that drive productivity and align with strategic goals. Track and report on SPIFFs and incentive program performance, providing recommendations to optimize effectiveness. Assist in audits of compensation attainment and process compliance to ensure accuracy and alignment with HR and legal requirements. Summarize and share frontline insights using tools like Gong to inform compensation strategy and process improvements. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions. In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $90,900.00 - $145,100.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $86,300.00 - $137,900.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside. Who you are 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Sales Compensation, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results in a high-growth, matrixed environment. Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and other business intelligence platforms. Demonstrated ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways, offering innovative solutions within compensation planning and insights. Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to support compensation processes and deliver insights. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
