Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles with a specialized focus on quantum engineering. As a Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovative projects, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the successful execution of engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs. Duties • Top Must Have's : Connex, Tandem, TAL, COBOL, S-COBOL, and TACL programming languages • Lead and mentor a team of support engineers focused on Connex applications running on HPE NonStop/Tandem systems. • Responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement. • Act as the first point of escalation for complex or high-priority customer issues. • Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and network teams to resolve cross-functional issues. • Drive root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents. • Maintain and update operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, team collaboration and decision-making skills. What are the top 3 skills required for this role? 1. Extensive hands-on experience with Connex switch, transaction processing & their associated component 2. Expertise in TAL, COBOL, S-COBOL, and TACL programming languages. Experience in using the Tandem utilities like FUP, Enscribe, Enform, Bind/XLD, SQL, DDL, INSPECT, Netbatch, Spooler, Peruse, Pathway concepts, 3. Experience with Connex knowledge on PI, TH, CH, PMC, CED, SMONINQY, CMSUTIL, NMI, EMS, Prognosis Job Type: Contract Pay: $60.00 - $60.01 per hour Work Location: Remote
