Job Description: The Vice President of Finance will be a key member of our executive team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management and strategy. This role is critical to our growth and success as we navigate the path to IPO. The ideal candidate will have significant pre-IPO experience, strong financial acumen, and a strategic mindset. Key Responsibilities: • Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the financial strategy to support our growth, profitability, and IPO readiness. • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the FP&A function to provide accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and reports. Ensure the company has a clear understanding of its financial health and outlook. • IPO Preparation: Work closely with legal and accounting teams to ensure compliance with all SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) regulations and reporting requirements. Prepare financial statements and disclosures for the IPO process. • Capital Management: Manage the company's capital structure, including equity, debt, and working capital. Optimize cash flow management and liquidity. • Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting and accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and investors. • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement strong internal controls and compliance procedures. • Investor Relations: Act as a liaison with investors, analysts, and external stakeholders. Communicate the company's financial performance and strategy effectively. • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred. • Proven experience as a Vice President of Finance or similar executive finance role in a startup or high-growth environment. • Extensive pre-IPO experience, including hands-on involvement in the IPO process. • Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and reporting requirements. • Experienced in GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) • Exceptional financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial success. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
