Job Summary: The AWS Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing cloud-based projects utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution to delivery—ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Project Management: • Lead AWS cloud projects from initiation to closure. • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules. • Track milestones, budgets, and resource allocation. • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively. Technical Oversight: • Collaborate with cloud architects, engineers, and developers. • Ensure AWS infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable. • Use AWS tools (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) for deployment and monitoring. • Review and optimize existing cloud infrastructure. Stakeholder Engagement: • Communicate project status to clients and internal stakeholders. • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units. • Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers. Team Leadership: • Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members. • Conduct training sessions on AWS services and best practices. • Supervise staff and manage cross-functional teams. Compliance & Documentation: • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards. • Maintain comprehensive documentation (plans, reports, updates). • Lead process improvement initiatives (e.g., onboarding, change management). ________________________________________ Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. • 3–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in AWS environments. • Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture. • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. ________________________________________ Preferred Certifications: • AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Cloud Practitioner • PMP (Project Management Professional) • ITIL / ITSM Certification • CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
