Senior Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer / Solutions Architect / Pre-Sales Consultant – AI & Data Intelligence Platform (Series A) ​ West Coast Preferred ​ About the Company We’re working with a fast-growing, Series A technology company building an AI-powered data intelligence and metadata platform that helps modern data teams discover, trust, govern, and operationalise their data. The company is built on a widely adopted open-source foundation and is backed by top-tier investors following a recent Series A. ​ Their platform sits at the heart of the modern data stack, powering data discovery, observability, governance, lineage, and AI-readiness through a unified semantic layer and knowledge graph. ​ The Role We’re hiring a Sales Engineer to join a high-growth go-to-market team and partner closely with Account Executives on complex, enterprise sales cycles. ​ You’ll act as the technical authority in the deal — running discovery, delivering high-impact demos, supporting PoCs, and helping customers design solutions across their data and analytics ecosystem. ​ What You’ll Do • Partner with Account Executives throughout the full sales cycle as the technical lead • Deliver compelling, tailored product demos to technical and executive stakeholders • Run technical discovery, solution design, and architecture conversations • Support PoCs, trials, and enterprise evaluations • Translate complex data and AI concepts into clear business value • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer needs and market signals ​ What We’re Looking For • 4+ years experience in Sales Engineering / Solutions Consulting / Pre-Sales • Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics stacks, metadata, data governance, lineage, or data quality, MDM, Master Data Management, iPaaS. • Comfortable presenting to both highly technical and senior business stakeholders • Experience running demos, workshops, and technical evaluations • Familiarity with modern data tools, APIs, SQL, cloud data platforms, or analytics tooling ​ Why This Role? • Work on a category-defining data & AI platform at the center of the modern data stack • Join a high-growth, product-led company with strong open-source adoption and enterprise traction • High impact role with exposure to complex enterprise architectures and cutting-edge AI use cases • Clear progression, strong leadership team, and real influence on how the product is sold and positioned
