zapp studios is a dynamic, fully remote studio that helps early-stage startups design, build, and launch their Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). We operate in fast-paced sprints, turning founder visions into market-ready products in just 4-16 weeks. Our team is mission-focused, collaborative, and dedicated to helping entrepreneurs succeed. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Technical Project Manager to join our team. This role is the critical link between our clients and our engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are clearly defined, expertly managed, and delivered on schedule. This is a unique opportunity to gain significant, hands-on experience in product development, client management, and startup operations. Key Responsibilities: Client Collaboration: Partner with startup founders to understand their vision and translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and user stories. Project Leadership: Lead all client-facing communications, including conducting weekly progress demos, gathering critical feedback, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Team Enablement: Manage project timelines, proactively identify and remove roadblocks for the development team, and ensure a smooth, efficient workflow. Scope Management: Carefully manage project scope and deliverables, communicating trade-offs to clients and ensuring projects remain on track. Ideal Candidate Profile: You have demonstrated experience organizing and managing projects (e.g., leadership in clubs, event planning, academic projects, or prior work). You have experience building or shipping a product, whether it's a personal side project, a university assignment, or professional work. You possess excellent communication skills, with a talent for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You have a genuine passion for technology, entrepreneurship, and learning what it takes to build a successful startup. What We Offer Rate: $20 - $40 per hour, based on experience. Flexibility: A part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, designed to be flexible around your other commitments. Invaluable Experience: This isn't a typical internship. You will gain practical skills in technical scoping, client management, and agile development—foundational knowledge for anyone looking to build a career in technology or start their own company.
