Overview We are seeking an Inventory Support Analyst to help drive excellence in healthcare inventory management. This role supports our clients' inventory and supply chain optimization efforts using Z5's technology and services. This role is ideal for early-career professionals seeking to build expertise in healthcare data, supply chain, and inventory systems, with opportunities to advance into senior analyst or project management roles. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and experience in healthcare supply chain, inventory management, and data standardization. They will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and standardization of inventory data whilst supporting on-site and remote engagements with our teams for inventory and reallocation projects. Role and Responsibilities Support internal and client teams with data validation and quality assurance during the inventory process. Review product valuations, units of measure, and not found items while counts are on-going. Collaborate with on-site project managers & clients to resolve data discrepancies. Provide email and phone support to field and client teams, addressing data-related issues. Support multiple workstreams and competing priorities effectively. Create detailed planning documents for each delivery. Conduct pre- and post-inventory review meetings with clients to ensure data integrity. Assist in translating business requirements into smart system solutions with the development team. Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Apply structured problem solving (taking a large, complex problem and breaking it down into components, working with others to resolve issues and maximize opportunities). Document issues holistically and at a client-specific level to ensure knowledge retention for future projects. Qualifications and Education Requirements · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. · Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and standardize large datasets for inventory optimization. · Comfort working with Excel (formulas, pivots, lookups) to clean and analyze data. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams. · Curiosity and willingness to learn healthcare supply chain systems and data tools. · Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field Preferred Skills Proficiency in data manipulation tools, such as Pandas (Python), Jupyter, or Excel Power Query. Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server). Exposure to healthcare supply chain, materials management, purchasing, or data analysis (internships, work-study, or 1–2 years’ experience). Coursework or certifications in supply chain, logistics, or data analytics. Knowledge of medical supplies, manufacturers, and product catalogs. Experience working with Item Master and PO data in a healthcare setting. Exposure to ERP or materials management systems (Workday, Lawson, PeopleSoft, Meditech) - reporting or navigation.
