Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Partnership professional to join our team. This role is critical in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the procurement process aligns with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement management, supply chain management, This position requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis to optimize purchasing strategies. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials. • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing for the organization. • Manage procurement processes including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management. • Conduct category management to optimize procurement strategies across various product lines. • Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management to enhance operational efficiency. • Perform root cause analysis on procurement issues to identify areas for improvement. • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and internal policies during procurement activities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with manufacturing needs and quality management standards. Qualifications • Proven experience in procurement management, sourcing, or supply chain roles. • Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and management. • Familiarity with MRP principles and logistics operations. • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and problem-solving. • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. • Experience in category management within a manufacturing environment is preferred. • Understanding of pricing strategies and quality management processes is an asset.
