The YMCA is looking for fun, hard working, individuals looking to make an impact in our community. This position supports 3-6 programs that provide before and after school care in Portland Public School. Benefits: • Comprehensive Medical Plans: Medical, dental, and vision for full-time staff • Holiday Pay: 9 paid holidays for full-time staff • Vacation Pay: 10 days for full-time staff, increasing after two years of work • Sick Pay: 1.5 hours for every 40 hours worked • Tuition Reimbursement • Childcare and Program Discounts • Free Household Membership to a YMCA Fitness Facility • Retirement Plan: 8% contribution after two years worked (must meet certain criteria). • Flexible Scheduling • Career Path: Promotion to management positions from within the organization Job Responsibilities: The Multi-Site Director is responsible for hiring and supervising program staff, maintaining all licensing standards, managing aspects of a budget including ordering required supplies, and communicating with parents and school staff to foster positive relationships with our communities among other responsibilities. The Multi-Site Director, Youth Development oversees the operation of before and after school programming as an employee of the YMCA of Columbia-Willamette and participates in financial development, staff development, philanthropic development and program development. Requirements: Required Qualifications: • Pass a YMCA Background Check • At least 240 hours of qualifying experience working with school-age children in the last five years, an associate degree or higher in a related field, or a Step 6 or higher on the Oregon Registry. • Meet all Program Coordinator standards as dictated by the Department of Early Learning and Care. • 1 year of experience supervising adults. • Current enrollment in the Oregon State Childcare Registry or ability to enroll prior to employment. • Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days. • Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days. • At least 21 years of age
