Position Summary The Senior Project Manager is critical and responsible for successfully deploying mission-critical systems such as market management, energy trading & risk management (ETRM), SCADA/EMS integrations, settlements, and grid reliability solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in project management and a working knowledge of ISO/RTO markets, regulatory frameworks, and utility operations. Position Details Salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 Location: Remote Type: Full-time Reporting to: Director of Professional Services Travel Requirements: Up to 50% depending on client needs and project milestones Primary Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project delivery for enterprise software implementations from initiation to post-go-live support. Manage multiple concurrent projects' scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and communications. Develop detailed project plans, resource forecasts, and communication strategies. Document statements of work, detailed designs, and test plans/scripts. Work closely with internal teams (engineering, QA, product, support) and client stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Drive project governance, including steering committee meetings, executive reporting, and status updates. Identify and proactively resolve project issues, risks, and dependencies. Ensure compliance with delivery frameworks, internal standards, and contractual commitments. Manage client relationships, expectations, and satisfaction through effective communication and stakeholder management. Mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuously improving project delivery processes and tools. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Minimum of seven years of project management experience in a SaaS environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Experience with JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, or equivalent tools. Deep knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional (Waterfall) project management methodologies. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills. Preferred Qualifications Strong experience in enterprise software implementations, SaaS, or systems integration projects. Deep understanding of ISO/RTO operations (e.g., SPP, MISO, PJM, CAISO, ERCOT), market settlements, or grid operations. Project management within the energy or regulated utilities space. Proven success in managing project teams across multiple geographies and time zones. What will set you apart from other candidates? PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred. Experience with diverse teams and customers within the Energy industry.
