What You Will Be Doing: As the Industrial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Industrial Marine Sales business, associated product lines and designated staff specialists. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of the Marine equipment industry and and associated applications. Primary Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the Marine Industrial Sales • Work closely with employees and other team members to generate leads for Marine Industrial products and identify opportunities for CAT/ Perkins equipment. • Work alongside Industrial Sales Specialist and Product Support Specialist in the field to teach and build a strong team atmosphere. • Attend manufacturer events and training, as required, in order to stay up to date on NPI’s. • Work closely with marketing team to effectively promote Industrial product lines to remain in compliance with manufacturer’s standards. • Spend time in the field with customers in order to sustain customer confidence with product offerings. • Communicate consistently and effectively with manufacturers to provide feedback that leads to machine quality improvements. Additional Responsibilities: • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. • Additional duties as assigned by manager. Who We Are Looking For: To be successful in this position you should have prior sales experience, knowledge of tools applicable to the position and the desire to learn. Must be driven to succeed, competitive and have the ability to close incremental sales and develop business with new customers. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well. Education/Experience: • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience. • Four year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.
