We are offering a unique hands-on internship for a motivated tech student or recent graduate who wants to build real-world experience in IT support, networking, and cloud systems. This is not a "coffee-fetching" internship—you’ll work directly with our technology stack, assist in daily operations, and gain practical skills across a wide range of systems under the guidance of experienced professionals. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, loves troubleshooting, and wants to transition from academic knowledge to professional expertise. What You’ll Learn & DoHands-On Technical Responsibilities: • Assist in setting up and maintaining Windows PCs, Surface Pros, and Apple devices (Macs, iPads). • Help deploy and support Yealink IP phones and the 3CX phone system (provisioning, basic configurations). • Gain exposure to Ubiquiti UniFi networking—help monitor, troubleshoot, and assist with setups of switches, gateways, and access points. • Participate in structured cabling projects—running, terminating, and testing network cables. • Support user account management across Microsoft 365 / Azure AD and Google Workspace. • Document processes, create user guides, and update IT inventory. Learning & Development Opportunities: • Shadow IT professionals and learn best practices in IT support and systems administration. • Get trained on industry tools like Ubiquiti UniFi Controller, 3CX Admin, Azure Portal, and Google Admin Console. • Develop troubleshooting methodologies and client communication skills. Who We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications: • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience. • Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems. • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs). • Eagerness to learn new technologies and tackle hands-on tasks. • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Reliable transportation to our Tempe location. Preferred Skills (Not Required—We Will Train): • Any prior exposure to Ubiquiti, 3CX, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace. • Experience with basic hardware setup (PCs, peripherals, phones). • Coursework or projects involving network cabling, VoIP, or cloud administration. • Customer service or helpdesk experience (even in informal settings). Personal Attributes: • Proactive, curious, and not afraid to ask questions. • Able to follow instructions but also work independently when needed. • Strong communicator—can explain technical concepts in simple terms. • Organized and able to document work clearly.
